From St. Zenon to Škarline

The St. Zenon walking route begins in Brtonigla and leads through agricultural landscapes toward Škarline. From higher ground the view stretches across vineyards and olive groves toward the sea.

Škarline lies close to Nova Vas and Brtonigla. Meadows and small lakes form the gentle entrance; deeper in, the stream cuts a lush limestone canyon on its way toward the Mirna River. Conditions can change after rain, so routes should always be approached with sensible footwear and local advice.
